
While it's important to know what's in our food, many people are just as interested in what's out. A few common concerns are covered here:
In case we forgot to mention it, Pret does not use any artificial flavoring, coloring, sweeteners or preservatives.
You won't find any trans fats in Pret food. That's because we only use natural oils, never partially hydrogenated oil. Almost all of our food is low in saturated fats. Even our chips are made with expellor pressed safflower oil, which is rich in monounsaturated fats (they're the good kind).
Just like fat, when it comes to carbs, there are the good, the bad and the ugly. We serve the good ones - unrefined, rich in fiber and full of nutrients - in our breads, nuts, grains, veggies and juices. If you're following a low-carb diet, try our whole grain wraps and salads that are naturally low in carbs and fat but full of fiber and protein.
